Jeffrey Burt works full time as a Consumer United Advocate helping the average consumer save money on car insurance and home owners insurance. Burt has made new friendships, and enjoys the fast-paced environment that Consumer United offers. "Being a part of a company that is growing at the rate of Consumer United is something special," he says.What is Burt's favorite personal finance advice? "Set short and long-term goals for yourself, and base all of your decisions upon reaching those goals." Burt saves money by following his own advice, and making sure he doesn't exceed his set budgets.
Outside of work, Burt enjoys being with close friends, and pro-actively works to help the environment. He's a NASCAR aficionado, and also enjoys sailing and playing golf during the summer.
Before Consumer United, Burt worked for Perkins School for the Blind helping out with the manufacturing team building Braille typewriters.
